According to the China Daily, Chinese Techfaith and Microsoft have signed an MOU whereby the two companies will work together on the development of handset products such as Smartphones, and handset applications. The agreement also includes cooperation in marketing and sales, and the exchange of technologies and engineers. Microsoft is looking to boost the adoption of Windows Mobile and Windows Media technologies in China, while Techfaith will have an opportunity to enhance its high-end handset design capabilities.
